"I have a positive bias but King Street sells perfect crunchy golden chips, not too greasy, tasty chicken tenders (they gave me an extra one because one was small ) and 5 dollars for 6 beautifully cooked & sugared mini donuts is too good! Half a scoop of chips is plenty and good price for great quality!"

"My go to fish and chips here in timaru, for 2 people we get the half scoop of chips, 4 nuggets, a plain sausage, crabstick, sometimes 2 mussles and a bacon&egg burger roughly $21-$26. I come here everytime I crave my order. Personally if you come from the north island(I'm a far north girl), dont expect the fish or any of the seafood menu to be amazing like up north, you get what you get(unless you wanna pay $20 or more at a restaurant), dont like it try something else on the menu."

"We were passing through Timaru and googled where to get Fish N Chips. These guys had a good rating so decided to try them out . So pleased we did . Friendly staff, clean, and the Fish n Chips were very nice . Cooked well and non greasy . We had the fish , which was Elephant . Big bit and the batter was nice light and crunchy without the oil taste . Best chips had in a long time . Very reasonable priced . 2 fish, 1 pine apple ring and 1 1/2 half scoop $23.70 The cans of drink were $2.50 . Will be definitely stopping again!"
